  i was reading another thread that asked, "do you see yourself remarrying?

  " i noticed some of the replies mentioned that getting involved with another xjw would be interesting.

  i have thought that also.

  This could end up being some very happy endings. Ahhhh, I just love happy endings.

  This is a great place to meet people that will help round out your personality . I have several people both male and female that I pm with frequently . They all have their own lives and partners but I would be bereft if I suddenly did not have them to speak with.

  For those that start having feelings well where there is a will there is a way. No matter where you live you will be able to spend time together.

  Semi-disabled and want to find another job. What do I do?

  ok, the place we live is driving us crazy, so i'd love to be able to work in my favorite town.. problem is -- i became semi-disabled on my present job, and i don't see how i can get hired anywhere else in the trade i'm in.

  i talked to the hr department about job retraining and they said that wouldn't be an option until i was declared unable to work at my present job at all - which is not likely any time soon.. when i bring this up to workman's comp doctors, they .... well, they don't have anything useful to say.

  they know medicine but that's about it.

  Vocational Rehabilitation /the re evaluation division. This is a federal program and is in every state. They will pay for your training or used to and will purchase adaptive wear or items to make your life a bit easier.

  I have been reading this thread again this am and although I started without any intention of probing deep into my friends spirit it seems that this is what is happening. GOOD!! Some really good things might come from this! ! Looks like we are going to have to increase the number of apostafests we will be having so there can be some meet ups for different ones!!! (the sound of chairs being pushed away from pc and the clattering of people perusing through kitchens looking for that recipe for J.W. certified appropriate for any occassion tuna casserole)

  For myself, I want to feel safe. Period. That is number one, want to be able to laugh out loud and not be told I have laughed enough... guess that falls under being accepted for who I am. I come with a lot of sharp edges and do not quarantee that I will be willing to shave them smooth for anyone. Cuddling, walking in the rain and not being afraid to show who they are.

  Now I am going to be 53 and lets face it... the frost has definately started falling on the pumpkins over here. hehehe so if I ever were to want to meet anyone they would probably have to be over 50, other wise people would look and say 'well look at that nice man...spending the evening with his aunt or mum" uuughhh. Now any of you nice men on here got an uncle or perhaps older cousin, dad????? that is single and might want to meet and spend time with a rockin' 50 plus? hhhhm, didn't think so. I will just continue reciting ... I am going to love the single life, I am going to love the single life...

  Wished that age and beauty did not matter so much to people

  Recently Studied With JW's--need help breaking up

  i studied with the jw's for two years and some time this coming week i will be making the "phone call" to tell carol my friend, that i do not want to study any longer with the jw's.

  i don't know why i let them into my kitchen to begin with, except there was something about her and i don't make friends well with other women, most of my friends are guys, but carol could tell a irish yarn that made you laugh and feel good.

  she made me feel safe and she was fun to go shopping with and talk about problems too, she was like the mother i never had.

  i never went back to meetings and i don't intend to go back.

  Perhaps someday, but I think that if I got hurt again my heart would just implode. Can not even think about it without shivering

  I remember something that was always said to the single sisters in the congregations here in Vt.... It is far better to be single and lonely than married and lonely. Harsh truth.
